Feb. 19-21, 2010, KHS Interact Club traveled to Del Rio, TX., in order to paint classrooms in a kindergarten across the Rio Grande in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico. We took 12 students from KHS and 7 from CHS. I ended up in the noisy van.
Lots of fun was had Friday night
at dinner with mariachis in
Acuña.
Saturday was mostly spent painting at the Alfredo Garza kindergarten.
Then we had time for some shopping along the main street before returnign to Del Rio for a peaceful celebratory dinner at Chili's.
